“Computer Love” Local Benefit to Raise Money for Students who attend Roosevelt High School

October 14th will mark the first ever Whatshappeningpdx.com hip-hop charity event title “Computer Love”.  The purpose of the concert is to raise money to purchase personal computers for students who attend Roosevelt High School, and we will be personally delivering these computers to these students.  For those who don’t know, Portland Public Schools have lost a lot of funding over the last several years, causing the loss of programs and the capability to purchase new school materials, and the Rough Riders have been heavily impacted by the budget cuts.

This event will be featuring performances by Whatshappeningpdx.com’s very own Hip-Hop Columnist Diezel P, Portland Hip-Hop Legend Cool Nutz, 2-time world rap champion and Roosevelt alumni Illmaculate, Roosevelt High School teacher J Kron, Mac Smiff, Mausy, Juma Blaq, with the DJ Fatboy one the turntables all night.  The Doors open at 8pm so get there early, $5 cover and additional donations will be accepted, 21 and over with great drink specials.
